abstract = {Aorto-esophageal fistula (AEF) is a rare complication of Thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR). It is difficult to treat, and patients rarely survive without treatment. An 88-years-old woman presented with AEF and sepsis of Klebsiella pneumoniae. Since the open surgery was difficult, we implanted an esophageal stent to cover the fistula. It enabled her to eat and drink normally for 4 months. She died of hemorrhagic shock; however, the esophageal stent remained intact. Even though esophageal stent treatment is generally not totally complete, it is a favored treatment option for those who wish to eat and to live normal life as long as possible.},
