Reduced-port laparoscopic surgery for rectal cancer

Although laparoscopic surgery for rectal cancer was less invasive than open surgery, there were several puncture holes and one small assisted incisions. This paper introduced the reduced-port laparoscopic surgery (RPLS) for rectal cancer, without increasing the difficulty of the operation, reducing the trauma and improving cosmesis.
